Pomburpa is a small village of 501 hectares in Bardez Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pomburpa depends on ALDONA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Pomburpa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Pomburpa's pin code is 403523[5], and village code is 00005400. The area of Pomburpa is segregated as 32.63 hectares irrigated area, 313.61 hectares unirrigated, the 71.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 83.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pomburpa is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 3095 and has total administration over 757 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ALDONA and North Goa to sell iron grills and make their living.
