Poli is a small village of 536 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Poli depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 67.40% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Poli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Poli's pin code is 326033[4], and village code is 04038000. The area of Poli is segregated as 117.74 hectares irrigated area, 123.91 hectares unirrigated, the 91.67 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 101.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.
