Pipla Gunj is a small village of 529 hectares in Sagwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pipla Gunj depends on Sagwara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Pipla Gunj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pipla Gunj's pin code is 314401[4], and village code is 03345200. The area of Pipla Gunj is segregated as 96 hectares irrigated area, 55 hectares unirrigated, the 86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 287 hectare area not available for cultivation.
