Pingalpura is a small village of 826 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pingalpura depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pingalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Pingalpura's pin code is 344704[4], and village code is 02255300. The area of Pingalpura is segregated as 781.88 hectares unirrigated, the 43.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Pingalpura is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 887 and has total administration over 132 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
