Pindkhar is a small village of 900 hectares in Atarra Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pindkhar depends on Atarra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pindkhar's pin code is 210202[4], and village code is 04824500. The area of Pindkhar is segregated as 32 hectares irrigated area, 453 hectares unirrigated area. the 22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 49 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pindkhar has One post office (Badausa S.O) and One public telephone. Pindkhar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
