Phutiya Doongri is a small village of 247 hectares in Ghatol Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Phutiya Doongri depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Phutiya Doongri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Phutiya Doongri's pin code is 327027[4], and village code is 03395900. The area of Phutiya Doongri is segregated as 59 hectares irrigated area, 113 hectares unirrigated, the 7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell ghee and make their living.
