Phogabas Bharthari is a small village of 1319 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Phogabas Bharthari depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Phogabas Bharthari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Phogabas Bharthari's pin code is 331402[4], and village code is 00613500. The area of Phogabas Bharthari is segregated as the 109.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1208.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
