Philip Harl Sellew (Philip Sellew) was an American minister, religious educator, and professor at the University of Minnesota.[citation needed]

He elaborated on the oxyrhynchus sayings of Jesus[1], and many other Christian theological and ontological discussions.[2]

His work may be found in many places, including the library of the University of Minnesota.[3]

Author of The Complete Gospels,[4] he notes in it that the oxyrhynchus sayings of Jesus, the fragment, was likely a talisman text, kept as an amulet, perhaps worn around the neck.
