Phaidani is a small village of 988 hectares in Bhinmal Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Phaidani depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 276.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Phaidani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Phaidani's pin code is 307803[4], and village code is 02304400. The area of Phaidani is segregated as 276 hectares irrigated area, 121 hectares unirrigated, the 122 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 469 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
