Peter Isler (born May 31st, 1955) is an American yachtsman, professional navigator, sports-media broadcaster, and author. He is a two-time America's Cup winner as a navigator aboard Stars & Stripes. He established two America's Cup teams including the America³ women's team. As a sports-media TV reporter, Peter has been a member of two Emmy award winning broadcast teams[1].

He is also a Motivational speaker and lecturer, speaking to hundreds of groups. He was awarded "Collegiate Sailor of the Year" for North America while at Yale University. Isler currently resides in Southern California[2].

Peter has written four books including Sailing for Dummies (Wiley, co-authored with J. J. Isler), At the Helm: Business Lessons for Navigating Rough Waters with Peter Economy, and Peter Isler’s Little Blue Book of Sailing Secrets (2011). He is president of Isler Sailing International, Inc.
