Peter Ingrasselino is an American food writer and chef, living in New Jersey, US. He is known for his work in the food industry, including as a culinary and hospitality industry professional.
Early life and education
Peter Ingrasselino interest in the food industry began at a young age while assisting in his grandmother's kitchen. He started working as a dishwasher at the age of 14, and developed a greater appreciation for food as he progressed as a chef. Ingrasselino earned a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from the New York Restaurant School (Institute of Culinary Education). After graduation, he held the position of Executive Chef at Club Med Vacation Resorts in Saint Lucia.
Professional career
Ingrasselino is the author of the "Food of Culture" cookbook series. He has received recognition through various media outlets including television, radio, and magazines. Ingrasselino opened his first restaurant, "Peter's on the Boulevard", in New Jersey.The restaurant received recognition from the Bergen Record. He later became the owner of "The Black Pearl", a four-star French restaurant that received recognition in the industry. He diversified his business into various areas, including catering, publishing, hospitality consulting, and hospitality placement agencies. He established a catering business called "Catering Masters" and also developed a range of food products, including bottled sauces, salad dressings, spices, frozen pizza, and coffee, under the brand "Celebrity Chef Series" of the Melitta Coffee Company. Ingrasselino was a food columnist for the Deland-Deltona Beacon Newspaper and conducted cooking seminars. He served as the President of the American Culinary Federation for the Tampa Bay Area and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he worked as a consultant and witness for legal court cases in the hospitality industry for Fortune 500 companies.

Peter Ingrasselino is a real estate professional with four real estate licenses in the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. He provides consulting services in the hospitality industry, including restaurant consulting. In the past, he established a company called "What The Fork LLC", which was dissolved in 2022. Currently, he is venturing into the pet food market and has a new project in development called "Hospitality Experience Live".
