Percy Taquan Brown (Born May 31, 1995), nicknamed The Most Charismatic Man, is an American Actor and Podcast Host. After graduating from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre in 2018, where he was bestowed the coveted Most Ideal Bonaventure Man Award, his first film role was in independent feature film The Incoherents (2019), starring Amy Carlson and Smallville Actress Annette O'Toole which led to his major role in feature film Third Week (2023) co produced by Wolf Entertainment. He has also starred in documentary film Accept The Call (2019) based on the true story of Zacharia Abdurahman. Since 2020, He has been the Creator and Host of ThePrinceofFreshAir Podcast.

Early Life

Born and Raised in Manhattan, New York City, Percy is of Cuban, Italian, Jamaican and African American decent and comes from a big family with 13 siblings; 7 brothers and 4 sisters. At the age of 6, he was adopted with his three younger siblings[1] As a shy, introverted but creative kid, his favorite hobbies were writing poetry, short fiction superhero stories and reading before he became intrigued with performing and began dancing.[2] Percy began competing in Chess at the age of 6 while attending PS. 145, playing both amateur and professionally in local tournaments at the Children's Aid Society Frederick Douglass Center. He began pursuing a career in acting at the age of 13 after graduating from Hudson Honors Middle School when a teacher noticed his talent during a local talent show. He attended Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts as a Theatre Major/Dance Minor from 2010 to 2014.[3] During this time, he worked with Epic Theatre Ensemble, an afterschool Not-For Profit Theatre company that was awarded the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities that was presented by Michelle Obama[4] At UASPA, he won scholarships to attend summer acting programs at the New York Film Academy and Columbia University before graduating in 2014 and attending St. Bonaventure University. From 2012 to 2020, he also became involved with Magic after watching Magicians David Blaine and Penn and TellerHe was able to perform at the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Open Mic in 2014 and for Season 8 Americas Got Talent contestant Colins Key in Central Park.


With over 11 years in Theatre, his first performances were in 2010 with Epic Theatre in Shakespeare play Much Ado About Nothing as Don Pedro, then as Polixines in A Winters Tale and Henry VII as Suffolk. In 2012, he did his first commercial for BET Networks, a PSA about Domestic Violence. In 2017 while attending St. Bonaventure, he was a nominated to compete in the 2017 Irene Ryan KCACTF Festival 50 for his work in the SBU Theatre production Twelfth Night as Orsino. During 2016-2018, Percy was also a cast member of the St. Bonaventure first official comedy club "Laugh Pack Comedy Club" which specialized in improv, stand-up and sketch comedy.[5] In the fall of 2017, he portrayed Freddy in Steve Martins Picasso at the Lapin Agile as Freddy, cast member in One Act Festival 7: Latest Hits[6] and Hamlet as Horatio as well as A Sketch of NY in summer of 2018 after graduating at Times Square's Producer Club Theatres and Bar.[7] After securing small roles in various short and feature films, his first breakout role came playing a Paralegal on the Web Series History which he followed up playing Ziggy in the Feature Film It's Always Been You which was the official selection at the Hollywood on the Timber Film Festival, Best Feature at the World Indie Film Awards and numerous other accolades. His latest film, Third Week, was filmed in New York City, co produced with Dick Wolf's production company Wolf Productions and was featured on Variety upon its release in 2024. While attending St. Bonaventure, he hosted his own radio show on the WSBU 88.3 The Buzz as DJ Long Walks on the Beach from 2017-2018. In 2019, Percy moved to Los Angeles, where he secured his first talent agent and booked his second commercial for Mattress Firm. Since 2020, he has been hosting ThePrinceofFreshAir Podcast which is on all major platforms including Spotify, Audible, YouTube and IHeart Radio and is also known for his 6 episodes on popular YouTube Channel Jubilee Media including popular episodes Do All Black Men Think the Same[8] and Online Dating vs Traditional Dating.[9]
