Peethawas is a small village of 265 hectares in Jaipur Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peethawas depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 189.08% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peethawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peethawas's pin code is 302012[4], and village code is 01559600. The area of Peethawas is segregated as 189.08 hectares irrigated area, 44.23 hectares unirrigated, the 3.55 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Peethawas is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3208 and has total administration over 572 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
