Peetha Pura is a small village of 314 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peetha Pura depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peetha Pura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Peetha Pura's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03464700. The area of Peetha Pura is segregated as 11 hectares irrigated area, 181 hectares unirrigated, the 18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.
