Peetampura is a small village of 346 hectares in Kishanganj Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peetampura depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 9.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Peetampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peetampura's pin code is 325218[4], and village code is 03910500. The area of Peetampura is segregated as 93 hectares irrigated area, 122 hectares unirrigated, the 93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 37.51 hectare area not available for cultivation.
