Peetambpura is a small village of 180 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peetambpura depends on KOTA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Peetambpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peetambpura's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02776900. The area of Peetambpura is segregated as 96.45 hectares irrigated area, 63.33 hectares unirrigated, the 10.77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.94 hectare area not available for cultivation.
