Peeplya Kalan is a small village of 525 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeplya Kalan depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 34.97% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peeplya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peeplya Kalan's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04132600. The area of Peeplya Kalan is segregated as 129.91 hectares irrigated area, 117.49 hectares unirrigated, the 98.47 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 54.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
