Peeplya is a small village of 537 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeplya depends on KESHORAIPATAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peeplya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Peeplya's pin code is 323026[3], and village code is 02766200. The area of Peeplya is segregated as 197.07 hectares irrigated area, 157.89 hectares unirrigated, the 52.74 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 129.65 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KESHORAIPATAN and Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
