Peeplad is a small village of 925 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeplad depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peeplad is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peeplad's pin code is 306114[4], and village code is 02420300. The area of Peeplad is segregated as 239 hectares irrigated area, 563 hectares unirrigated, remaining 123 hectare area not available for cultivation.
