Peepawas is a small village of 549 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peepawas depends on FATEHNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peepawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peepawas's pin code is 313211[4], and village code is 03035000. The area of Peepawas is segregated as 18 hectares irrigated area, 272 hectares unirrigated, the 226 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.
