Peepal Hera is a small village of 461 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peepal Hera depends on Chhipabarod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peepal Hera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peepal Hera's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03967600. The area of Peepal Hera is segregated as 122 hectares irrigated area, 48.78 hectares unirrigated, the 88.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10.35 hectare area not available for cultivation.
