Peeliya is a small village of 650 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeliya depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 251.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Peeliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Peeliya's pin code is 303302[4], and village code is 01617500. The area of Peeliya is segregated as 291 hectares irrigated area, 165 hectares unirrigated, the 146 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 48 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
