Paul Meijer (born 25, October, 1967) is a Dutch politician who is the founder and leader Forza! Nederland. He was previously a member of the Pim Fortuyn List (LPF) between 2002 and 2003.

Biography

Meijer was born in Dronten and studied marketing and sales at college in Maastricht. He joined the newly created Pim Fortuyn List in 2002 and helped to set up the North Holland branch of the party. He was elected for LPF in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. In 2004 he left the LPF due to the deteriorating conditions of the party and founded Forza! Nederland with fellow former LPF member Fleur Agema based on the founding principles of the LPF.[1][2] Meijer also spoke at the official commemoration for Theo Van Gogh in 2004 and has also spoken at rallies for the PEGIDA movement.[3] Since 2010, Mejier has served as a counselor in Haarlemmermeer for Forza! Nederland.[4][5]
