Paul Geoffrey Killik is a British businessman and the co-founder of the wealth management firm Killik & Co.[1][2]
Early life
Paul Killik was born on 24th December 1947 in Eastbourne, England.[3]
Education
Killik was head boy of Clayesmore School in Dorset, leaving in 1966. After leaving Clayesmore, he immediately started working in the City of London.[2]
Career
Killik's career in financial services began in 1969. He soon joined Killik, Cassel, Haley & Co., where he became a partner in 1974. The following year, the firm merged with Quilter Hilton Goodison. In 1982, Paul was put in charge of Quilter's private client department.[4] In 1984, while at Quilter, he was involved in opening a "share shop" in a Debenhams department store on Oxford Street, which has been described as a "pioneering concept" in the UK.[5] A number of other share shops in Debenhams stores around London followed.[4][2][3] In 1989, along with Matthew Orr, Paul Killik co-founded Killik & Co as a stockbroking firm, with its first office located in Chelsea, London in a former chemist shop.[4] In 2024, he transitioned to the role of Senior Partner & Chairman, appointing Sarah Threadgould and Clem MacTaggart as Managing Partners.[6][2][7]
Personal Life
Paul Killik is related to Sir Stephen Killik, stockbroker and former Lord Mayor of London.[4]
Paul is married to Karen Killik. They have two children, James Killik and Georgiana "Georgie" Killik.[8]
Philanthropy
Paul Killik served as a trustee of ShareGift from 2012 until retiring in October 2023.[1]
