Obong Paul Ekpo (born 18 November 1969), is a Nigerian politician and the fifth chairperson of the People's Democratic Party, Akwa Ibom state. He emerged and served as the state party chairman from 2012 to 2020,[1][2]and as the Chairman of all chairmen of PDP in Nigeria.[3] He also served as a Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, and Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Akwa Ibom state[4][5]and saw the emergence of the word “landing” in Akwa Ibom political space. Ekpo have conducted successful governorship, National Assembly, State House and local government council election and won victory for the party. [6]
