Patwa is a small village of 2961 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patwa depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 440.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Patwa's pin code is 306302[4], and village code is 02393500. The area of Patwa is segregated as 459 hectares irrigated area, 1727 hectares unirrigated, the 356 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 419 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaitaran and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
