Paton Ka Bara is a small village of 1930 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paton Ka Bara depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Paton Ka Bara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Paton Ka Bara's pin code is 344021[4], and village code is 02161300. The area of Paton Ka Bara is segregated as 505.16 hectares irrigated area, 478.84 hectares unirrigated, the 601.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 345 hectare area not available for cultivation.
