Patoda is a small village of 1331 hectares in Jhunjhunu Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patoda depends on BISSAU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 18.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patoda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Patoda's pin code is 331027[4], and village code is 00677300. The area of Patoda is segregated as 52 hectares irrigated area, 1204 hectares unirrigated, the 58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BISSAU and Jhunjhunu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
