Patiya Kodar is a small village of 274 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patiya Kodar depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patiya Kodar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Patiya Kodar's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03476600. The area of Patiya Kodar is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 164 hectares unirrigated, the 7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
