Patan is a small village of 652 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patan depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 25.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Patan's pin code is 306101[4], and village code is 02409300. The area of Patan is segregated as 66 hectares irrigated area, 209 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 365 hectare area not available for cultivation.
