Patan is a small village of 1904 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Patan depends on Neem ka Thana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 202.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Patan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Patan's pin code is 332718[4], and village code is 01747800. The area of Patan is segregated as 307 hectares irrigated area, 123 hectares unirrigated, the 189 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 279 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Patan has One post office (Patan S.O (Sikar)) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Patan has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Patan is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7004 and has total administration over 1122 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Neem ka Thana and Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
