Pasrotiya is a small village of 666 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Pasrotiya depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Pasrotiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Pasrotiya's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02611500. The area of Pasrotiya is segregated as 221.06 hectares irrigated area, 336.02 hectares unirrigated, remaining 109.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Pasrotiya is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1508 and has total administration over 283 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
