Dallas, Texas is home to Parker University, a non-profit educational institution that has an emphasis on medical treatment. A second chiropractic clinic is run by the university in Irving, Texas, which is also the location of the institution's initial campus. It has received accreditation from the Commission of Massage Therapy Accreditation, the Council on Chiropractic Education, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Parker University was once known as Parker College of Chiropractic when it was established by James Parker in 1982. The name was changed to Parker University in 2011. As of the year 2016, there were 977 pupils enrolled at the institution.
