Park Seong hwa (Hangul: 박성화; Jinju, South Korea; April 3, 1998) is a South Korean singer, dancer, model and actor. He debuted on October 24, 2018 in the korean boy band ATEEZ, under KQ Entertainment.[1]
Early life
Park Seonghwa was born on April 3, 1998, in Jinju, South Gyeongsang, South Korea. He attended Myungshin high school. After joining KQ Entertainment, he enrolled in Paekche Insitute of Arts for one month before he had to drop out.[2]
Career
Seonghwa joined KQ Entertainment as a trainee to become an idol. In October 2017, some of KQ Entertainment's trainees participated in a casting for MIXNINE, a survival reality show, but Seonghwa did not make it.
Before Seonghwa's debut, he was part of "KQ Fellaz", the group made of KQ's trainees who trained together. On October 24, 2018 Seonghwa debuted as a member of ATEEZ with the EP Treasure:All to Zero. The group is formed by Kim Hongjoong, Jeong Yunho, Kang Yeosang, Choi San, Song Mingi, Jung Wooyoung and Choi Jongho.[2]
Acting career
In 2021, Seonghwa participated in the KBS drama Imitation, a show about idol's lives in the entertainment industry. Seonghwa played Se Young, the leader and rapper of the group Sparkling.[3]
Modeling career
In April 2024, Seonghwa participated in the Isabel Marant fashion event at Château Marmont in Los Angeles. Later, he attended Isabel Marant's Spring Summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week on September 29, 2024, marking his fashion week debut.[4] On March 6, 2025, Seonghwa debuted as a model, parading for Isabel Marant at Paris Fashion Week for the Womenswear collection 2025.[5]
