Parawal is a small village of 448 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parawal depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 27.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Parawal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parawal's pin code is 313301[4], and village code is 03039100. The area of Parawal is segregated as 47 hectares irrigated area, 133 hectares unirrigated, the 68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 200 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
