Parasla Kalan is a small village of 1509 hectares in Pali Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parasla Kalan depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 42.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parasla Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
