Parana is a small village of 1993 hectares in Tonk Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parana depends on Niwai, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 140.20% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Parana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parana's pin code is 304021[4], and village code is 02634100. The area of Parana is segregated as 381 hectares irrigated area, 1144.1 hectares unirrigated, the 80.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 130 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parana is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2607 and has total administration over 492 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Niwai and Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
