Parai is a small village of 820 hectares in Sarada Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parai depends on Rikhabdeo, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Parai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parai's pin code is 313801[4], and village code is 03256500. The area of Parai is segregated as 21 hectares irrigated area, 135 hectares unirrigated, the 121 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 228 hectare area not available for cultivation.
