Parahera is a small village of 662 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Parahera depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Parahera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Parahera's pin code is 327034[4], and village code is 03416200. The area of Parahera is segregated as 278 hectares irrigated area, 168 hectares unirrigated, the 76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Parahera has One post office (Paraheda B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Parahera has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Parahera is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2410 and has total administration over 473 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Partapur and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
