Par is a small village of 402 hectares in Bharatpur Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Par depends on Bharatpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Par is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Par's pin code is 321303[4], and village code is 01037400. The area of Par is segregated as 268 hectares irrigated area, 106 hectares unirrigated, remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
