Papra is a small village of 530 hectares in Pahari Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Papra depends on Kaman, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Papra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Papra's pin code is 321204[4], and village code is 00961600. The area of Papra is segregated as 203 hectares irrigated area, 174 hectares unirrigated, the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kaman and Bharatpur to sell wood furniture and make their living.
