Paota is a small village of 675 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Paota depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 91.48% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Paota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Paota's pin code is 341303[4], and village code is 01775200. The area of Paota is segregated as 91.48 hectares irrigated area, 528.7 hectares unirrigated, the 20.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Paota is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1024 and has total administration over 209 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Didwana and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
