Panotiya is a small village of 892 hectares in Raipur Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Panotiya depends on Gulabpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Panotiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Panotiya's pin code is 311803[4], and village code is 02812800. The area of Panotiya is segregated as 340.27 hectares irrigated area, 225.78 hectares unirrigated, the 172.75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Gulabpura and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
