Panchla Khurd is a small village of 4520 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Panchla Khurd depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Panchla Khurd is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Panchla Khurd's pin code is 342306[4], and village code is 01940000. The area of Panchla Khurd is segregated as 1396 hectares irrigated area, 2895 hectares unirrigated, the 138 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 91 hectare area not available for cultivation.
