Panche Ka Tala is a small village of 20157 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Panche Ka Tala depends on POKARAN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Panche Ka Tala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Panche Ka Tala's pin code is 345028[4], and village code is 02046600. The area of Panche Ka Tala is segregated as 4343.81 hectares irrigated area, 473.68 hectares unirrigated, the 14793.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 546.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of POKARAN and Jaisalmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
