Panch Mahura is a small village of 302 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Panch Mahura depends on Jhalod (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Panch Mahura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Panch Mahura's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03485500. The area of Panch Mahura is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 200.51 hectares unirrigated, the 30 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhalod (Gujrat) and Banswara to sell jute and make their living.
