Panagiotis is a Greek entrepreneur and a Director in the hospitality industry. He was born in Athens in 1985. Since then he lives and works in Athens-Greece but also abroad.
Studies
Panagiotis entered the Dafni 8th public school in which he finised primary school. He finised his high school at private school Geitonas in Vari - Greece. In 2003 he started his bachelor at TEI of Athens on Tourism management. In 2011 he entered his MSc in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens|University of Athens in the field of Sociobiology neuroscience and education. His thesis was Development and empowerment of personnel in Tourism industry such as Hotel, Cafe and restaurants using Total quality management|TQM methods.[1][2]
Work
- The year 2006 with his brother Achilles started their import and distribution coffee company and since 2013 are the official distributors of Cafe Barbera|Caffe Barbera in Greece.[3]
- In 2009 they opened their first coffee shop "Mestre Cafe " and in 2015 the second one "The Coffee Traders "[4] holding managerial roles in both of them.
- In 2007 he worked at the IHG Hotels & Resorts|IHG group-Intercontinental Hotel Athens as an assistant training and development manager.
- since 2015 he started his role as a lecturer in IEK Praxis college teaching barista techniques[5] .Additionally on his career as an academic it is worth mentioning that he has been official lecturer in government programmers called LAEK and OAED since 2017.
- Currently he is working for CB franchise as Director of Operations.2[6][7] Since 01/ 2019 has taken the management of all cafe Barbera Corporate stores plus the new CB Truck project in UK called Nico .[8]
- In 2021 established the Caffe Barbera academy in Greece. An overal seminar-based school for F&B industry.
- During his study and work Panagiotis has attended in various seminars such as Microsoft programs, first aid, health and safety, hygiene principles, ideal guest satisfaction, access for all and many more.
- He speaks and writes fluently Greek and English
Exhibitions , Interviews and Events
- He has participated with Caffe Barbera company in various exhibitions such as Hospitality industry|HORECA , Food Expo , Athens Coffee festival and other events and promotions in the coffee industry. In Greece and Cyprus has given a lot of interviews[9]1 in business magazines especially in the coffee sector and lectures regarding the food industry in general.
Awards
He won the Ethos awards for Top Greek importer in 2019. Since 2015 he is a founding member of F&B association Greece.

Freemasonry
He joined the Freemasonry|freemasons December 13th 2013. Raised as a Master Mason June 12th 2015. Since 2017 he is an Officer at various positions in his mother lodge Ionia No 54 AThens, Serene Grand Orient of Greece|Grand lodge of Greece. He took his 4th Degreee under the Supreme Council of Greece - Magistrum Secretum , December 5th 2015 in Alitheia lodge No1 .He is a member of the Royal Arch Masonry|Royal Arch , since December 7th 2020. He has visited various lodges in Greece and abroad. (Such as Nil Sine labore No 2736 london- UGLE )[10]
