Palot is a small village of 1816 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palot depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Palot is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Palot's pin code is 341305[4], and village code is 01768800. The area of Palot is segregated as 1678.93 hectares unirrigated, remaining 137.17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
