Palodra is a small village of 868 hectares in Sarada Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palodra depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 22.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Palodra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Palodra's pin code is 313001[4], and village code is 03248400. The area of Palodra is segregated as 102 hectares irrigated area, 102 hectares unirrigated, the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 326 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
