Palka is a small village of 191 hectares in Chittaurgarh Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Palka depends on Begun, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Palka is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Palka's pin code is 312022[4], and village code is 03563500. The area of Palka is segregated as 93.36 hectares unirrigated, the 23.17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 43.59 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Begun and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
